Operating system support is limited to the manufacturer's publishing of security updates.

Hardware

Microphones Support

  • All built-in microphones, although we highly recommend an external microphone
  • All USB microphones
  • All XLR microphones with an audio interface
  • All virtual microphones, although we recommend against it  to avoid latency or quality impacts
  • 48 kHz sample rates

Headphones & Speakers Support

  • All built-in speakers, although we highly recommend headphones
  • All 2.5mm aux headphones
  • All 3.5mm aux headphones with an audio interface
  • All USB headphones/headsets
  • All Bluetooth headphones, although we highly recommend wired headphones to avoid latency or quality impacts

Cameras Support

  • All built-in cameras, although we highly recommend external cameras
  • All resolution cameras, although we highly recommend 720p or higher
  • All virtual cameras, although we recommend against it to avoid latency or quality impacts
  • Minimum 30 frames per second (FPS) or higher

Resources Support

  • Minimum 2GB Memory (RAM) or higher
    • If you are limited on RAM, we recommend that you close all other applications & only run SquadCast
  • Minimum single-core 1 GHz Processor (CPU) or higher, dual-core 2GHz or higher is recommended
    • If you are limited on CPU, we recommend that you close all other applications & only run SquadCast
